Short overview of how to knit the jacket:

The jacket is worked top down. The back piece is worked back and forth. Stitches are increased for arm-

holes. Stitches are picked up for each front piece and increased for the neckline. The pieces are joined and

the body is worked further back and forth. The body is finished with a ribbed edge. Stitches are picked up

for sleeves. The sleeves are worked in the round, top down. Finally, stitches are picked up around the

neckline for a neck edge, which is worked back and forth in ribbing, and a button band which is worked in

ribbing.
