Gauge: 15 sts stockinette stitch over 10 cm in width

Recommended needles: Circular needle 5.5 mm, 40 cm and double-pointed needles (if you are not

knitting the hat using the “Magic Loop” technique, in that case you only need

an 80 cm needle).

Cast on 76 (80) sts on 5.5 mm needles using 1 strand of each yarn.

Work ribbing (k1, p1) over all sts until the work measures approx. 27 cm.
